The development of the website in cooperation with the IT company triagonale was financed in equal parts by the Institute of Health and Nursing Science of the Medical Faculty of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Institute of Nursing Science of the Department of Health of the OST (Ostschweizer Fachhochschule, formerly FHS St. Gallen).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ongoing operation of the website (technical support, server costs) is financed by the EbM network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of a cooperation agreement with the initiators of RefHunter, the EbM-Network was appointed as the publisher of the website. The EbM-Network is a non-profit, scientifically and methodologically oriented association that sees itself as a German-speaking competence and reference center for evidence-based medicine and practice. The network, which currently has around 1000 members, brings together experts from various disciplines, professions, sectors and organizations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the network is the (further) development and dissemination of concepts and methods of evidence-based and patient-oriented healthcare in practice, teaching and research. In this context, it serves as a space for independent, critical-scientific discussions on all issues relating to evidence-based medicine and practice.
